Overview

CaseBank offers decision support software and knowledgebase development tools, complemented by extensive support services - everything necessary for clients to build their own decision support systems.

Our products and services help organizations structure, preserve and deploy their existing know-how while capturing new experiences as the system is used.  The result is an ever-growing repository of knowledge about previous experiences (eg. problems and their solutions), which is available whenever, and wherever, similar situations next appear (for more information about what types of applications would benefit from a CaseBank decision support system, see Our Focus and Our Markets). 

We offer two products:

Building an application has several phases: developing the initial “seed” case-base from your historical data (such as maintenance records and service incident reports), integrating the system with the maintenance staff workflow, training your maintenance staff on the system, and then the ongoing phase of adding new cases as they are discovered. 

Throughout these phases, CaseBank offers a wide range of Services to support the project including:

  • Training case-base development staff

  • Assisting in case-base development

  • Integrating into existing workflow applications and computer systems

  • Training your maintenance staff

  • Assisting in case-base updating

  • Custom development, if needed

Core to all of these products and solutions is CaseBank’s proprietary, patented, case-based reasoning software, SpotLight.  All of our Decision Support solutions can operate stand-alone, or be readily integrated with existing legacy CRM or ERP applications (compatible with existing workflow processes and IT infrastructure).
